What do you do?
What do you do, if you love someone, but don’t have the capacity to ‘go forward in life’ with them?
What do you do, if you think you have taken the good moral ground and let them move on and meet someone else — but then realise you can’t bear it?
What do you do, if you build up a dream in your mind, of how you hope things will turn out. And of course, it’s just a dream.
But when reality begins to dismantle the dream; it’s too painful, and you can’t bear for it not to turn out to be true in some way, so you can’t quite let go of it — what do you do?
What do you do, when your dreams start to disappear. You say goodnight to the dream, to the person, to a love, to something genuine.
What do you do, and how do you stay honest? To yourself, and to others. Without hurting yourself, without hurting others. How do you follow that Buddhist principal, of not deluding yourself?
